AI & People

An AI agent can answer most everyday questions on its own. But some conversations need a person, and knowing when to step aside is part of doing the job well.

Situations that need a person

  • On request. If a customer asks for a person, they should get one. Nobody wants to argue with a bot.

  • Complaints and frustration. An upset customer usually wants to be heard by a human, especially when something went wrong.

  • Sensitive topics. Health, legal, financial or personal matters often call for a person's judgement.

  • Exceptions. Special discounts, custom requests or anything outside your usual rules.

  • Uncertain answers. When the agent doesn't have the information, handing over is better than guessing.

How to set up a good handover

A handover only works if it's smooth for both the customer and your team. A few simple rules make the difference:

  • Define clear triggers. Write down which topics and requests should always go to your team.

  • Pass on the context. Your team should see the full conversation and the details already collected, so the customer never has to repeat themselves.

  • Set expectations. Tell the customer that a team member will take over and roughly when, especially outside working hours.

  • Notify the right person. Make sure the person who should handle it hears about it quickly, not just whoever opens the inbox next.

How it works in Gloseva

In Gloseva, conversations from the phone, WhatsApp, Instagram, Telegram and your website chat all appear in one inbox. When a conversation needs a person, your team can step in, read the history and reply from the same panel, picking up exactly where the assistant left off.

Review handed-over conversations every week. If the same question keeps reaching your team, add a clear answer for the agent so it can handle it next time.

The goal isn't to replace your team. It's to let the AI take care of the routine work so your people can focus on the conversations that really need them.
